Description
_The “Sayeh” Villa project, located in the town of Absard, Damavand province,In this project, We focused on preserving the original structure of the existing building while renovating it in accordance with the limited permits granted. In this project, we aimed to achieve a desirable spatial quality by making purposeful changes while fully retaining the existing structure. Our design strategy was based on improving the original structure and enhancing it. By removing parts of the structure and adding cantilevers at key points, we created a dynamic and diverse space in both the floor plan and the facade. These changes not only helped improve natural light and ventilation but also provided attractive visual perspectives. The technique of covering the cantilevers with box-like structures was an innovative approach to creating a modern facade that aligned with contemporary needs. This process resulted in the formation of a project named “Sayeh” (Shade).
