Description

The story of this project began when the client, a wholesale clothing distributor, requested the design of a showroom. The primary spatial requirement was a continuous clothing rack with a total length of 40 meters. Rather than resolving this as a linear element, we chose to bend and twist the rack around a series of circles generated from a defined grid, allowing the long system to be integrated naturally into the space.

The hanging heights were adjusted according to short and long garments, as well as circulation and accessibility needs. The racks were fabricated from stainless steel to provide both structural strength and a refined, luxurious character. Ultimately, suspending the racks from the ceiling became a conceptual gesture, evoking the processes of spinning, weaving, and garment production, and linking the showroom back to the origins of clothing manufacturing rather than merely its distribution.
